小人国Kids Kingdom

揭示了一个陌生却真实的儿童王国，为家长们展示你所不知道的孩子的世界，为成年人打捞消失的童年。《小人国》纪录了三个性格迥异的孩子：为友情四季等候的四岁女孩辰辰，五岁的孩子王池亦洋，两岁的探索者锡坤。讲述了一个儿童世界关于权利、情感和探索的故事。

The film reveals an unfamiliar but real kingdom of children， which opens up the children’s world which is unknown to parents but could help to salvage the lost childhood that once belonged to adults. Kids Kingdom documented three kids with different characters： A four-year girl Chenchen who waits four seasons for friendships， a five-year boy Chi Yiyang who‘s the head of his gang， and a two-year boy Xikun who’s an explorer. It is a story about rights， emotions and discovery in kids‘ world.

张同道，男，出生于1965年，北京师范大学艺术与传媒学院教授、博士生导师，纪录片中心主任，著名纪录片学者和制作人。教育部“新世纪人才”计划入选者，北京市2009年电影十佳人物，曾任中国金鹰电视节、四川国际电视节、加拿大班夫电影节、美国Reel China电影节评委。主要作品有《居委会》《经典纪录》《小人国》等。

Zhang Tongdao， male， born in 1965， is a professor of Beijing Normal University， a PHD tutor， the director of the Documentary Centre， a well-known documentary scholar and producer. He’s nominated by the Ministry of Education’s Talent of the New Century Project. He has been awarded as one of the Beijing’s Top Ten people in film in the 2009 and， he was on the judge panel of China Golden Eagle TV Art Festival， Sichuan International TV Festival， Canada’s Banff Film Festival and US Reel China Film Festival. His major works include Community Board， Kids Kingdom etc.

湖北武汉常青第一小学，三年一班的班主任为了让学生们理解民主的含义，在班中组织了一次班长的民主选举活动。候选者总共有三人：成成，一个胖乎乎的小男孩，颇有心计的他在这次选举中不遗余力，志在必得；罗雷，作为这个班的前任班长，他有着根深蒂固的威信和指挥力；许晓菲，三个候选人中唯一的女孩，乖乖女甚至爱哭鼻子，似乎是最没有竞争力的候选人。三个孩子围绕班长的职位展开竞争，在这一过程中同学和家长也不可避免地卷了进来……

In order to allow students to understand the significance of democracy， the teacher of Class 1， Grade 3， Wuhan Evergreen No 1 Elementary School， Hubei organises a democratic election for class monitor. There’re three potential candidates： Cheng Cheng， a chubby little boy， calculated， he spares no effort to win this election. Luo Lei， as the former monitor， he enjoys deep-rooted authority and commend. Xu Xiaofei， the only girl running for the monitor， is a good girl but prone to cry. She seems to be the most uncompetitive candidate. Three kids engage in fierce competition for the monitor， and in which students are parents are inevitably get involved.

陈为军，武汉电视台制作人，长期从事纪录片创作。2004年制作纪录片《好死不如赖活着》。2007年，创作《请为我投票》，入围2008年奥斯卡电影奖最佳纪录片名单。2008年制作纪录片《世界最大的中国餐馆》。

Chen Weijun， producer of Wuhan TV Station， he has being engaging in documentary production for a long time. He produced Documentary Better to live on in 2004. In 2007， he produced documentary Please Vote for Me， which was nominated for the best documentary of the Oscar. He produced documentary The Biggest Chinese Restaurant in the World in 2008.

每个人都经历过的中学时代，每个孩子都要进入的中学时代，每个家庭都会面对的教育话题。一所中学的一个年级，面对不停出现的各种问题，教师、家长、孩子用自己的方式应对并彼此掣肘。

The high school time which everyone has experienced and which every kid has to step into， is an educational topic that every family has to face up to. People involved in a grade in a secondary school have to deal with constantly emerging issues. Teachers， parents and students respond in their own way whilst feeling the constraint.

赵珣，2003 华中师范大学中文系毕业，做过高中老师，2005考进入北京电影学院导演系攻读硕士学位，现于该系任职。

Zhao Xun graduated from the Chinese Department of Central China Normal University in 2003. He was once a high school teacher. He was doing his Masters in Department of Directing， Beijing Film Academy in 2005 and is currently teaching there.
