节目简介Programme Description

《错置·位移》用动作意像来传达身体文化的擦撞、争斗、平息和交流,舞者身体和其隐喻象征激发观众的共鸣和回响。身体感知的多面性、开放性和当下性使作品跨越空滑不平的身体文化场域,透过舞者身体间的感触互动,将被视为固化整合的肢体,随时可被取代、重组、溶解,从单一视图,融入推移,合二为一。身体像乘着滑撬般潜行,摇摆不定,对照于整合单一的身份。每一次的错置位移,引发重新驱策的动力。

Conditions of Displacement are explored through movement phrasing and imagery of passage from one state to another. This site of passage resonates with both the physical and metaphorical, brought forth in unendurable friction and struggle, or ease and liquidity. Dances can travel, passing over slippery uneven cultural ground, through immersive sensual states of the poly cultural, occupying the states of being in-between, of becoming. Here defined solids, unitary dance bodies are displaced, reformed, and then melted again, as the slipperiness of skin on skin pulls them from singleness in point of view, towards a state of merging entities, one body tempted to become another, tempted into passage. The slippery skids of this lurching movement score are counterpoint to unitary identity, and singleness. Each tempting into passage begins a new breath, a compulsion to reanimate.

编舞简介About the Choreographer

余承婕是舞蹈剧场编导,纽约大学帝许艺术学院舞蹈艺术硕士。余氏加入台湾云门舞集后,开始演出生涯。1989至2001年间定居纽约从事编舞,并曾与约瑟·林蒙舞团、碧比·米勒舞团等合作,担任罗夫o雷蒙舞团舞蹈计划的客席艺术家。她的作品于美国、德国、以色列、新加坡、香港、台湾、中国大陆等地演出,主要探究移居海外的亚洲人文化议题,致力探究性别、社会政治和跨文化议题。其动作语汇和创作动机源于融合太极拳和八卦掌的后现代舞蹈技法。余承婕现为美国加州大学洛杉矶分校世界艺术文化/舞蹈系副教授。

YU holds an MFA in Dance from Tisch School of the Arts, NYU. She began her performance career touring with Cloud Gate Dance Theater of Taiwan. Then from 1989 to 2001 residing in New York City, she began her choreographic career, while also performing with the Jose Limon, Bebe Miller, and the Ralph Lemon Dance Companies. Her choreography has been produced in the US, Germany, Israel, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan and China. YU's choreography explores the Asian Diaspora sensibility, encountering the related challenges of cultural and gender politics. YU's imagery is built from a postmodern dance technique, infused with the martial arts of TaiChi/BaGuaZhang. She is currently an Associate Professor of the Department of World Arts and Cultures/Dance, UCLA.

独立艺术家余承婕的作品旨在探讨华人移民与美国人文的近距离对话,透过融合现代舞与中国拳术的身体,企图以大胆的语汇和激发人心的意象,致力探究性别、社会政治和跨文化议题。她的个人作品及委约创作在亚、美、欧等地区上演。委约创作的单位有:雅拉艺术群、纽约圣马可教堂的舞蹈空间、北京现代舞团、广东现代舞团、台湾的创作社以及三十舞蹈剧场。

Yu Dance Theater was formed in 1997, by Artistic Director YU Cheng-chieh, and focuses on Chinese Diaspara issues in dialogue with contemporary American culture. Through Western and Asian movement disciplines, the company fashions bold kinetics and provocative imagery to touch the visceral mind of the audience and continually challenges the notions of an Asian profile, crisscrossing issues such as traditional gender ascriptions, social-political perspectives, and cultural boundaries. Her choreographic work has been presented internationally in Asia, America and Europe and she has worked with various renowned companies such as Yara Arts Group of LaMaMa, Movement Research, Danspace (NYC), Beijing Modern Dance Company, Guangdong Modern Dance Company, Creative Society and Sun-Shier Dance Theatre (Taiwan)
