规整的学校，不过分热闹的街坊

有裁缝师，厨师，搬运工，维持秩序的人员

或许还有你，隐约在灌木丛，九重葛

八角亭，尖角塔，四方操场，圆形跑道

电影院，方便我们就近追本，溯源

或者更远，那里的风与蝉声，扯断

机制，你和那些人们，辩论

Ancestors

You Yipiao

Near where we live are settled residences,

orderly schools, neighborhoods lively but not noisy,

tailors, cooks, porters, and those who maintain order;

Perhaps you are also there, glimpsed among the shrubs and bougainvillea,

the octagonal pavilions, spires, square fields, and circular tracks,

cinemas, all making it easy for us to seek our roots nearby,

or further still, where the wind and the cicadas tear through

the mechanism; you and those people, debating

and stirring into motion, unpredictable as seasonal markers.

(This is a passage through secret passages,

Age turning into a mystery,

A soul growing old, like a myth.)

The tongue that bound us whole can no longer be found,

those nouns, verbs, adjectives, prepositions, and structures,

And they are intransitive, knowing not how to mature into a future.

Perhaps your true arena is in the themed art galleries,

the curated halls, performing you and your dance of green years,

the roads from the origin, suspended like clouds.

Governed by the temp, the long-term, the permanent employee,

governed by their masters, directed downward,

composing details of the frame, like an iterative refinement.

We break into lines, but we do not break apart,

not returning to the original point, nor reverting to our original forms,

so we continue, in the old livelihood, from yours to ours.

炎热的天气

来了之后，没有退烧的药方。

昨天一夜的季候风

热搜合群的人

醒了百分之五十七的宿醉。

（冷藏的第一机密，往往体现

于犹豫不决的号码，或者象征，

又或者颜色，轻轻的天色，

沉重的路。）

蒲公英，是外向的；

向日葵，是被动的；

仙人掌，是主动的。

也许这些都不一定；

问问，来回奔波的人

掌纹是否依旧，清晰如山川？

Do You Know?

You Yipiao

The sizzling weather,

once arrived, no remedy for fever.

The overnight monsoon,

the gregarious trending search,

fifty-seven percent sober from the hangover.

as hesitating numbers, or symbols,

or colors, while the sky is light,

and the road is heavy.)

Expressive as dandelion,

receptive as sunflower,

assertive as cactus.

Perhaps none of these is final;

ask those shuttling back and forth

if their palm lines endure,

clear as mountains and rivers.

Riddle-solving, thinking deeper,

Weighing the forest’s green density,

Whether its gravity settles

like fruit,

like cities settling one after another,

like traffic crossing borders,

pacing between knowing and not knowing,

| 游以飘 (You Yipiao)，本名游俊豪 (Yow Cheun Hoe)。1970年马来西亚霹雳金宝出生，任教于新加坡南洋理工大学，现任中华语言文化中心主任，曾任中文系主任、华裔馆馆长。出版诗集《流线》(2016)、《象形》(2020)、《记号》(2021)、《时差》(2023)。曾获马来西亚花踪文学奖新诗首奖 (1995, 1997)、花踪文学奖新诗佳作奖 (2001)、新加坡金笔奖中文诗歌第二名 (2005)。他是南洋理工大学-新加坡国家艺术理事会“亚洲创意写作项目”中文负责人。

“香港国际诗歌之夜”（IPNHK）是诗人北岛于二〇〇九年创办的国际诗歌节。IPNHK十七年来已成功传递了来自三十多个国家及上百位知名国际诗人的诗歌及思想，成为了亚洲最具影响力的诗歌盛事之一，也是国际诗坛上最成功的诗歌活动之一。IPNHK是“世界文学联盟”的成员，与该联盟合作并打造世界最领先的诗歌节。
